Murray Mallee Aged Care Group and My Choice Care are starting the new year strong by introducing of our new Social Support Group Program to Support at Home participants in regional SA and metropolitan Adelaide.
Commencing in January 2026, this program is designed to support the individuals and families who trust us with their care to have opportunities for social connection, independence, and having a bit of fun!

Our program will offer two options, allowing you to choose the outings that best suit your interests: fortnightly centre-based activities, and full-day monthly bus trip outings.
About the Fortnightly Centre-Based Activities
Each session will include a range of enjoyable and engaging activities in a relaxed and enjoyable environment, and may include:
- Group games and trivia
- Bingo and card games
- Light physical activities
- Creative and craft activities
- Social discussion groups
- Relaxation activities
- BBQs
- And much more!
Fortnightly sessions will be held in various venues across both Murray Bridge and Adelaide starting from mid-January 2026. We will also hold metro sessions for Italian speakers, providing an opportunity to connect more with your language and culture.
About the Monthly Bus Trips
We are also offering full-day outings for regional SA and metropolitan Adelaide Support at Home clients. Create lasting memories and make new friends as you experience scenic drives, local attractions, cultural experiences, and lots of lunch outings!
Details of each monthly trip, including destinations, will be shared in advance so you can decide which outings you wish to attend.
Transport, meals, and staffing are all included as part of the program (subject to available Support at Home funding).
